Study of Certain Biochemical Attributes of Pantja Buck Semen

The current study was conducted to biochemical attributes of Pantja Buck semen. For this purpose six mature healthy bucks were selected from the Goat Unit maintained at Department Livestock Production Management, College Veterinary and Animal Sciences, Pantnagar, Uttarakhand (India). All experimental kept under similar feeding management conditions. Semen collection done early morning by artificial vagina method. Total 36 semen samples collected for a period 3 months. Immediately after collection, examined attributes. Overall mean value pH found (6.61 ± 0.02) independent buck age. Resazurin Methylene blue reduction time noted higher younger minimum older with overall 3.15 0.25 6.04±0.36 min. respectively. Mean values HOST Millovanov’s resistance test recorded as 36.10 1.17 % 5216.70 1.94 16.76 0.86 sperms cold shock.
